Church Pharmacy donates £1000 to Diabetes UK.
There are currently 4.6 million people in the UK living with diabetes, and 12.3 million more at increased risk of getting type two diabetes. Those diagnosed face the risk of life-changing, and life-limiting, complications, unless they are given the very best care and the support they need to manage their condition well.
Diabetes UK is leading diabetes charity whose mission it is to bring people together to work in partnership and to support those living with diabetes, prevent Type 2 diabetes, make research breakthroughs, and ultimately find a cure.
Their wide range of products and services are designed to help people manage diabetes, whatever support they need whether it’s insurance, information, or just someone to talk to.
Church Pharmacy has been very pleased to be able to support their great work through donation.
In addition, our pharmacist Tasneem Sheikh, will be taking part in a sponsored walk to raise further funds for their great cause.
